Activity Groups
A Stroke of Luck
An intermediate painting group that meets each Wednesday 1 - 4 PM throughout the year.
Bible Study
Members share scripture, joys, and sorrows in a close-knit group of believers. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays in members' homes.
Bookers
A reading group that meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
Bridge
We meet every Tuesday at members' homes.
Bridge I Members meet every Tuesday (except the 3rd the Tuesday of the month) in members' homes.
Canasta
An easier card game than bridge with melds, bidding, and lots of fun. We meet the 2nd & 4th Wednesday at Pino's in Gasburg, VA for lunch and Canasta.
Crafty Ladies
Ladies creating crafts.
Crochet I
We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday to share knowledge of crocheting.
Friends Who Count
Members principally do cross stitch, but all forms of needlework are done with lots of assistance. Instruction is available. We meet the 1st & 3rd Mondays at members’ homes.
Games I
Friends get together weekly to play cards, Hand and Foot, or any other games that interest our members.
Games II
Members get together weekly to play Hand and Foot, Mah Jong, Rumicube, etc. We usually meet in members’ homes.
Gastonettes
A choral group of ladies who loves to sing and share their interests and talents with others. We meet every Thursday.
Gaston Gourmets We meet monthly to learn new cooking techniques, go on field trips, share recipes and camaraderie.
Green Thumbs
Meetings are comprised of trips, speakers, and subjects pertaining to gardening and outdoor projects.
Line Dancing
Enjoy and learn all types of line dancing to a variety of music.Enjoy and learn all types of line dancing to a variety of music.
Mah Jongg
A beginners group learning to play an ancient Chinese tile game.
Nature
We take monthly trips every 3rd Friday to discover and enjoy nature in NC and VA.
Needlework I
Needlework enthusiasts having fun together every Monday.
Needlework II
We meet the 2nd and 4th Monday from 1-4 PM to learn and teach needlework.
Pinochle
Couples (any two people) play once a month for 4 months. Then a new group is formed to play the next four months.
Red Hat Mamas

Sassy Red Hatters
No rules. Just fun.
Stage One
If you are interested in any phase of drama - planning, writing, working behind the scenes or right in front, we’d love to have you be part of our group. Put a “little drama” in your life.
Vintage Gals A group interested in learning about antiques. We travel to historic sites, antique shops, have guest lecturers, shop, and always enjoy lunch.

Lake Gaston Ladies Club is a non-profit social club for women who live on Lake Gaston or in Lake Gaston subdivisions. Its mission is to provide friendship and support to its members and to participate in outreach programs designed to help those in our community.
